Established in 2006 by a group of businessmen and art collectors with the common love for art, Galerie Raphael was incorporated to be able to provide unique art pieces to the rising location now known as the Bonifacio Global City. Its first store was established at the 2nd floor of the Serendra complex then being built at that time by Ayala Land.
The Galerie has since then been known to showcase works, masters such as Juvenal Sanso, National Artists Federico Aguilar Alcuaz and Abdulmari Imao, contemporary artists such as Vincent de Pio, Aileen Lanuza, Juanito Torres and Jerry Morada and abstract artists Karina Baluyut and Aldrino Abes. It has hosted successful shows by Glenn Cagandahan, Camille Ver, Aljo Pingol, and Jomar Delluba. The Galerie is a distinctive part of the Taguig and Makati landscape where residents in the vicinity have long known Galerie Raphael as a source for world-class modern and contemporary art.
As part of its corporate direction, Galerie Raphael now opens its second gallery at the highly upscale and prestigious Shangri-La Mall complex. With it’s proven crop of artists, GalerieRaphael adds Antonio Daleon’s Japanese inspired floral patterns, Rudolf Gonzalez’s waterscapes, Caress Banson’s floral compilations to it’s roster of talents.
